He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Tubbs and Esther Lowell Tubbs; and his nephew Eric Downey. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Butts (Ken), LeRoy F. Tubbs, Jr. of Jamestown, NY, Elizabeth Liddell of Mayville, NY and Patrick Tubbs of Buffalo, NY.; his grandchildren, Scott, Lindsey, Philip, Cory, Melissa, Kodey, Teresa, Victor and Corrine; his siblings, Lawrence Tubbs of Alabama and Margarete Downey of Jamestown; and his close friends, Patti Culliton, Mark Parsons, Sherry Johnson, Joe Camarata, Christopher Puchalski and Joe Erbacher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Chances Thrift Store or The Wounded Warrior Project.
