With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy J. McCray (Jamestown, New York), who passed away on August 16, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Newark McCray; his parents, Harold McCray and Laureate Lillie McCray; and his sister Louise Crick. He is survived by: his sons, Dan McCray of Jamestown, Jack McCray (Marty) of Lakewood and Robert McCray (Valerie) of The Villages, Fla.; his grandchildren, Chad McCray, Heather McCray Wilcox, Jennifer McCray Bussell (Stephanie McCray), Leslie McCray DiNapoli (Erin McCray Victorella), Steve and Erik (Gregory McCray); and his siblings, Lucille Walker (Harry) of Hawaii, Mary Gould of Jamestown and Donald McCray of Lakewood. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Busti Fire Department, 886 Mill Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
