He is survived by: his wife Carol Shearer Best; his children, Lisa Best (Alan Maybach) of Jamestown, NY and Darren Best (Stacey) of Huntersville, NC.; his grandchildren, Shawn Kilmer (Maggie Mason) of Bear, DE, Logan and Brayden Best of Huntersville, NC.; his siblings, Trudy Thompson (Ronald) of Bemus Point, NY, Bridget Johnson (Richard) of Ashville, NY, Quentin George "Q. G." Best (Kathy) of Westfield and Harry "Casey" Best (Debbie) of Westfield; and his sisters-in-law, Pamela Fahnestock of Winchester, VA, Susan Shearer and Laura Shearer of Westfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
