We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2020, at the age of 97, Ray E. Bentley Sr. (Jamestown, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Abers Bentley; his daughters, Alice Bentley and Ruth Johnson; his grandchildren, Geraldine Griffin and Larry Bardo (Doris Waite); and his siblings, Mildred Benshadler, Nina Brown, Laura Bentley, Hazel Jaeger, Roy, Myron, Rollins, Gerald, Merrill, Ervin, J. C., Verne, Ralph, Merlyn Bentley and Due.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Bentley (Cheryl) of Jamestown, Ray Bentley (Kiantone), Rose Nelson (Tim) of Celoron and Robin Miles (Mark) of Kiantone; and also, Kenny Waite, Sandra Horn, Gary, Judy, Robbie, Timmy, Scotty Carlson and Ray. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.
