He was predeceased by: his parents, John Young and Laura Dickerson; his daughters, Laura Whitehill and Carrie Nelson; and his siblings, Drucila Putnam, Alton R. Boutelle and LeRoy Boutelle.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline Punk Young; his children, Leilani Beaujean (Don) of Dewittville, NY, Lisa Schaub (Bill) of Traverse City, MI, Cheryl Parker (Glenn) of Kinards, SC, Teresa Rahr (Derrick) of Lockport, NY, Bruce Nelson of Jamestown, NY and Larry Nelson; and his brother Earl "Sonny" Boutelle of San Antonio, TX.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
