He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Gibbons and Edith Shampoo Gibbons; his wife Evelyn L. Thieme Gibbons; his son Daniel J. Gibbons; and his siblings, Johnny Gibbons, Myrtle and Mary Lou.
He is survived by: his children, Judi Knight of Tampa, FL and Richard Gibbons (Lisa) of French Creek, NY. He is also survived by several grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
