He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Nelson and Lucile Czechowski Nelson; and his son Jeffrey A. Nelson (Julia). He is survived by: his son Roger; his spouse Deann Larson Nelson; and his children, Alex Nelson (Kim) of Baden, PA, Johanna Hedin (Neil), Christina Nelson (Kwang Song) of Henrico, VA. and Lorinda Peterson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
