He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett T. Ecklund and Frances L. Bowen Ecklund; his daughter Kathleen J. Ecklund; and his brothers, Theodore L. Ecklund and Charles Crassi.
He is survived by: his wife Takuko K. Ecklund; his sons, Keith P. Ecklund (Kimberly) of Jamestown and Christopher W. Ecklund of North Warren, PA; his grandchildren, Kaileigh A. Ecklund, Madisyn L. Ecklund and Ryleigh G. Ecklund; and his brother Roger Crassi (Elizabeth).
