With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth D. Hedstrand (Jamestown, New York), who passed away on April 17, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Olga Nelson and Thure Nelson; and her husband Derle E. Hedstrand. She is survived by: her children, Sue Intihar (Larry) of Indian Trail, NC, John Hedstrand of Falconer, NY, Cindy Rankin (Gary) of Brookville, FL, Mark Hedstrand (Melissa) of Frewsburg, NY and Bob Hedstrand (Betty) of Busti, NY; her daughter-in-law Kathy Hedstrand of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Dr. Eric Intihar (Kendra) of Mooresville, NC, Lisa Brandon of Buffalo, NY, Kailyn Aloisio (Gary) of Buffalo, Mark Hedstrand (Danielle) of Clarendon, PA, David Hedstrand of Jamestown, Lindsey Marz (Joey) of Springhill, FL and Jessica Miller (Daniel) of Kennedy, NY; her sister May Morrison of Jamestown; and her sibling's children, Nancy Thunberg and David Thunberg. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
