It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Vitanza of Jamestown, New York, born in Portland, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo Vitanza and Angelina Vitanza; and his siblings, Connie Smrekar, Josephine Vitanza, Mary Kennedy and Carl Vitanza.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Vinton Vitanza; and his brother Sebastian "Bud" Vitanza. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
