It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley L. Schauers of Jamestown, New York, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hultman and Ruby Olson Hultman; her husband Carl E. Schauers; her brothers, Donald and Norman Hultman; and her stepson Charles Schauers.
She is survived by: her stepson Gary Schauers (family: Sandy, David) of Sherman; her stepgranddaughters, Crystal Wynn and Nicole Schauers; and her sibling's children, Norma Sue Barber of Frewsburg, Sandy Denn of California, Sally Madelone of Saugerties, NY and Brian Hultman of Colorado.
A member of the Frewsburg American Legion Auxiliary and RSVP, she enjoyed bowling on many bowling teams, knitting, playing cards, baseball, and singing with the Golden Gems at Tanglewood.
