With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Uvie E. Stewart Sr. of Jamestown, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Uvie E. Stewart Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Georgiana Stewart; his siblings, Bishop Carl W. Stewart, Suffragan Bishop Eugene Stewart and Sandra Holland; and his sister-in-law Janet Stewart.
He is survived by: his son Dist; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Stewart and Bishop Carl Holland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and one god-daughter.
