William A. Whitmore Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William A. Whitmore of Jamestown, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Whitmore and Minnie Jo Clark Whitmore; his wife Gloria A. Nyberg Whitmore; and his siblings, Barbara Minsker, Florence Hilton, Rose Gammino, Genevieve Williams, Leon Whitmore, Clyde Whitmore and James Whitmore.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kathy; his children, Mark T. Whitmore (Kathy) of Gerry, NY, Candace R. Swan (Tom) of Fairfield, OH, Cynthia L. Carlson of Lakewood, NY and William A. Whitmore, Jr. (Shawna) of Buffalo, NY; his grandchildren, Thomas Swan, Jr. of Fairfield, OH, Taylor Yeoman (Austin) of Cleveland, OH, Alyssa Carlson of Lakewood, NY, Alexa Carlson of Lakewood, NY, Amelia Whitmore of Buffalo, NY and William A. Whitmore, III of Russell, PA; and his sisters, Judy Newbree of Jamestown, JoAnn Klingensmith of Lakewood and Betty Main of Busti.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home.
