He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nieder and Anna Bates Nieder; and his siblings, Marie Cross, Donald Nieder, Frances Brown, Paul Nieder, Ruth O'Brien, Charles "Bud" Nieder and Gordon Nieder.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Champlin Nieder; his children, Linda Gray of Jamestown, Patricia Johnson (Byron) of Needles, CA, Terry Nieder of Jamestown, Diana Clark (Bruce) of Fredonia and William Nieder, Jr. (Charlotte) of Jamestown; and his brother Peter Yeager (Joanne) of Elmira, NY.. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; one step granddaughter; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
