With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter G. McKeen of Jeffersonville, New York, born in Queens, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his brother Edwin McKeen; his sister-in-law Ann McKeen; and his parents-in-law, Ted and Jeanne Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bowen McKeen; his children, Robert McKeen (Sue), Kelly Erlwein (Scott), Kathy Lowe (Mike) and Mike McKeen (Natalie); his grandchildren, Kevin Erlwein (Calley), Michael Erlwein (Katie), James Walter Erlwein (Jessica), Jenn Brink (Jed), Robert Walter McKeen (Annie), William McKeen (Lori), Meghan Spisak (Paul), Ryan Lowe (Jaimee), Jason Lowe (Grace Turner), Dahlia McKeen, Haylee McKeen, Michael McKeen and Olivia McKeen; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Scott Erlwein, Owen, Andi Jeanne Erlwein, Tristan, Evelyn, Liam Brink, Brenden, Jenna Lowe and Asher Spisak. He is also survived by several brothers- and sisters-in-law, along with multiple nieces and nephews.
