She was predeceased by : her former life partner Leonard S. Raychel, Sr.; her parent Teofiland Kathryn Lenga; and her siblings, Genevieve Severance, Ruby Fabrizio, Theresa Yevchak, Helen Leonard, Casimir, Henry, William, Edward and Fred Lenga.
She is survived by : her pet Amy; her children, Leonard S. Raychel, Jr. (Debby), Renee Dupnock (Ken), Rick Raychel (Jeanne) and Karen Lapinski (John); her grandchildren, Lindsay Raychel, Chad Raychel, Dr. Trisha Dupnock, Laurie Dupnock, Adam Raychel, Jocelyn Mullins (Ryan), Melissa Kettle (Adam), Dr. Ashley Lapinski, Christopher Lapinski and Madison Lapinski; her great grandchildren, Ida-Rae and Tucker Mullins; and her husband Len. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a Family Celebration of Sophie's life will take place on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery Upper Mausoleum (new section).
