We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Alex Patrick Mereness of Johnstown, New York, born in Cooperstown, New York. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Tirso Martagon and Garry Sweet; and his grandmother Joan Hoyer. He is survived by: his parents, Patrick Wayne Mereness and Kristy Lynn Marie Sweet; his uncles, Bryan and Darryn; his siblings, Amanda Mereness, Brooke Fuhs and Tyler Mereness; his girlfriend Marina Sachs; his grandparents, Karen Sweet, Dewayne and Elena Mereness; his great-grandparent Gladys Martagon; and his niece Ava String. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
