With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur C. MacVean of Johnstown, New York, who passed away on September 25, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy MacVean and Perlia Dopp MacVean; his wife Arlene Canary MacVean; his daughter Debra MacVean; and his siblings, Clement, Charles, Percy Jr., Clarence, Robert, Ross, Marion Hughes, Thelma Lester, Grace Everest and Hazel Brownell.

He is survived by: his children, Dean MacVean (Sue), Allan MacVean (Debbie), Garry MacVean and Lisa Negus (Kelly Lee); and his siblings, Ruth Beyer and Donald. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
