We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2020, at the age of 87, Betty H. Rote Ackerknecht (Johnstown, New York), born in Mayfield, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hutchinson and Mildred Murray Hutchinson; her former husband Charles A. Rote, Sr.; her husband Ernest W. Ackerknecht; and her children, Sandy Ackerknecht and Jake Ackerknecht.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Rote, Jr. (Connie) of Mayfield, Tim Rote of Broadalbin, Joann Miller (Doug) of Broadalbin and Michele Ackerknecht of Broadalbin; her sister Roberta Flint (Elwood) of Gloversville; her grandchildren, Charlie Rote, III (Erica), Tim Rote (Bobbi), April Closs (Daryl), Amy Webber (John), Ashley Smith (Wayne) and Autumn Smith; and her sibling's children, Kelly Sprung and John Flint. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.
