She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph E. Smith and Edith Smith (Morris). She is survived by: her sibling's children, Glenda Gill (Bruce) of Hadley and Glenn Crowley (Lois) of Fonda. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Chickie can be made to the Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Road, Sprakers, NY 12166.
