He was predeceased by: his parents, Deyo Sweet and Eunice Yerdon; his son Terry Sweet; and his siblings, Donald Sweet, Kenny Sweet, Roger Sweet and Yvonne Guile.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lorraine Richards, Cheryl (Paul), Brenda Smith (Dusty), Melissa Duesler (Rod) and Tina Konik; his daughter-in-law Colleen Sweet; and his siblings, Larry Sweet, Margaruite, Joyce and Arlene. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
