He is survived by: his parents, Donald Ernst (Flora) and Sandra Ernst (Lyons); his close friend E. Vicke Ernst; his children, Amanda Ernst (Keith Hanna) and David Ernst; his stepdaughter Cheyanne Rivenberg; his siblings, Daniel Ernst, Sandra King (Christopher), Lori Beck (Rick) and Douglas Ernst (Sang Hwa); and his grandchild Jansen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
