He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blanchard and Flora Swart Blanchard; his grandson Roger William; and his brothers, Donald Blanchard (Beatrice), Kenny Blanchard (Carol) and Melvin Blanchard.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Blanchard, Robin Winchell (Kenny Felthousen) and Paul Blanchard; his grandchildren, Erik Winchell (Lynda) and Lisa Westerling (Stephen); his great grandchildren, Madalyn and Carly Winchell; and his brothers, Robert Blanchard (Terry) and John Blanchard (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions in Ernie's memory may be made to Sir William Johnson Volunteer Fire Department or Mountain Valley Hospice.
