He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin H. Edwards and Marion L. Weaver of Edinburgh, NY.; his former wife Edda; and his son Gene 'Butch Edwards, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Judy Robinson Edwards (Wilson); his children, Amber Jensen, Peter Edwards and Celene Frasier (John); his stepchildren, Fred, Mark and Ryan Wilson; and his grandchildren, Russell, Wesley, Tyler Jensen, Ryan, Patrick, Ian Edwards, Jaden, Marcus, Trey Willson, Isaiah, Cameron Wilson and Gene. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
