He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Purdy Sr. and Nora M. Clegg Purdy. He is survived by: his wife Carol Purdy (Dunbar); his children, Richard Purdy (Connie) of Hope Falls, NY, Lynne Illsley (Doug) of Northville, NY and Lori Barton (David) of Gloversville, NY.; and his stepsons, Anthony Mobus of North Port and Scott Mobus of Springfield, Vermont.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren as well as several cousins.
