With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold E. Lair (Johnstown, New York), born in Gloversville, New York, who passed away on March 27, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lair and Anna Mae Lair; and his sister Arlene Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lair; his daughters, Tammy Thackrah of Johnstown and Kathy Markarian (Christine) of Corunna, Michigan; his grandson Ryan Thackrah; and his sister Louise Lair of Gloversville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to The Lexington Foundation 127 E. State Street, Gloversville, NY, 12078, or to a charity of one's choice.
