She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Sr. Helwig and Gladys Sanford Helwig; her husband Armand C. Vertucci of Gloversville; her daughter Susan Vertucci; and her brothers, Frederick Helwig Jr. and Rodger Helwig.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Sanford Vertucci of Brooklyn, Kurt Christopher Vertucci of Rome, Shelley Claire Vertucci of Seattle and Mark Charles Vertucci (Lisa) of Johnstown; her grandsons, Matteo Vertucci of Baltimore, MD and Marco Vertucci of Seattle, WA; and her sister Lois Lynch of Palm Desert, Californina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Community Hospice of Amsterdam, Fulton County Office for the Aging Meals on Wheels Program or Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Healthcare Facility.
