She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Clute and Loretta Gordon Clute; her siblings, Richard Towne (Irene), Naomi Bruse (Harold), Clarence, Harry, Roland Clute and Shirley Miller (Eugene); and her brothers-in-law, David Pollak and Richard Briggs.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Cheney; her children, Kimberly Cowles (William), Jackie Cheney-Girard (Eric Girard) and Jason Cheney (Tassiana Oliveira); her granddaughters, Lauren, Samantha Kent, Paige and Natalie Girard; her sisters, Hazel Pollak and Betty Briggs; and her siblings-in-law, Grace, Geraldine Clute, Fran Older and Richard Cheney (Donna). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
