He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Simone and Clara LaRowe; and his brother Steve Simone. He is survived by: his son Paul Simone (Patty) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Josh (Whitney), Mathew and Brenna; his son Scott Simone (Kathy) of Sparta; his grandsons, Zachary and Michael; his daughter Christina Novak (Bryan) of Amsterdam; and his grandchildren, Kelsey and Kayla. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
