It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary M. Renda (Johnstown, New York), born in Gloversville, New York, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Viola and Theresa Christiano Viola; her husband Salvatore J. Renda; and her children, Thomas Renda and Teresa Jaquay-Schrader.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Mendetta (Rick) of Gloversville; and her grandchildren, Yvonne Whitman (Wayne), Michele Marotta (Jamie), Amy Rodriguez (Ron), Elizabeth Mendetta (Bryon), Nicole Weakfall, Ashley Zimbal (Kevin) and Christopher Renda (Tatum Sardella). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the current Covid pandemic, services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Healthcare of Amsterdam, Saint Theresa Covid Unit in care of the funeral home.
