She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Kruger and Susie Shaw Kruger; her granddaughter Amy Lynn; her daughter-in-law Nancy; and her siblings, Jean Sawyer, Patricia "Susie" Turo, Charles Kruger, Hank Kruger and Lester Kruger, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Joseph W. Sowle, Jr. of Broadalbin, Bonnie S. Kruger of Amsterdam, Penny A. Renner of Elkart, IN, Valerie Fisher (Timothy) of Elkart, IN and Michael Sowle (Patricia) of Middle Grove; her sisters, Marion Frye (Jake) of Broadalbin and Betty Anderson of Gloversville; and her grandchildren, Lisa Burroughs (Brian), Rebecca Brunelle, Rochell, Danielle Fisher, Jason Smith (Alysha), Richard Sowle, Katie Gilboy (Jeremy), Courtney Gilboy (Josh) and Michael Sowle. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
