He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Dalbert Oxford and Jessie Elenore Boyd; his wife Ella Mae Duross Oxford; his siblings, Donald Oxford and Dalice Hutchings of Texas; his son David Oxford (Colleen Farnan); and his siblings, Keith Oxford (Leah) of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho and Sharon Massa of Yuma, Arizona. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
