It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Karabin (Johnstown, New York), born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Karabin and Violet Magnuszeska Karabin; his spouse Jean Sparks Karabin; his brother Robert; and his son Paul.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Diane L. Karabin of Amsterdam; his grandchildren, Erik Karabin of Sloansville and Katie Chilton (Tyler) of Ft. Johnson; and his sister Laurie Dybas of Newtonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current health guidelines, facial coverings and social distancing are required.
