He is survived by: his wife Amelia Tortorello Smith; his children, Thomas Smith, Jr. (Deborah) of Gloversville and Sharon A. Hulbert of Dolgeville; his grandchildren, Gene R. Hunt, Jr., Patricia A. Varvaro, Chad Smith and Jessica Smith; his great grandchildren, Nicole Noel Hunt, Gabrielle Smith, Zachary Smith, Arron Sowle, Gavin Smith, Blayke Sowle, Amelia Ambrosino and Camden Smith; and his great great grandchildren, Carter and Leighton.
