She was predeceased by: her parents, William Laird and Sophie Valachovic Laird; her husband Nelson Sackett; her children, Daniel Sackett and Gail Sackett; and her siblings, Arlene Lansing, William Laird, Donald Laird, Cecile Hurley and Jeanette Kretser.
She is survived by: her children, Nelson Sackett, Carolina, Sharon Conroy (Steve) of Broadalbin, Sandra Isabella (Alfred) of California, Brian Sackett (Mary) of Florida, Jeffrey Sackett of Seattle, WA, Glenn Sackett (Karen), Terry Sackett (James) of Seattle, WA and Mark Sackett (Katie Mahon-Coupas) of Fort Plain; and her brothers, Richard Laird of Caroga Lake and Carl Laird of Florida. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
