She was predeceased by : her husband Donald R. Piehl; and her parents, Michael Sieber and Mildred Sieber. She is survived by : her siblings, Michael Sieber (late Georgean) and Diane Lapp (late Clifford); her nieces, Karen Sweet (Kenneth), Candace Sadowski (Jeremy) and Janice Payne (Chris); and her nephew Clifford Lapp (Susan).
