He was predeceased by: his parents, Petro Sawczuk and Karolyna Sawczuk (Budzienowska); his siblings, Kornelia, Orysia and Bohdan; and his siblings' children, Shanya and Boris.
He is survived by: his wife Olga Sawchuk; his daughters, Roxolana Sawchuk (Driss Zoukhri) and Natalka Sawchuk (Chris Blay); his granddaughters, Julia and Isis; his sibling's children, Christina Shmigel (Patrick Moreton), Christina Lonkewycz, Dana Lenec, Alexandra Dutka, Christina Synyshyn and Peter Shmigel (Suzanne Houweling); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Arianna, Alana, Pixie, Nicholas and Tim.
