It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Montefusco (Kings Park, New York), who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to present a scholarship to a student at her High School who will be majoring in the criminal justice/forensic science program in her name.

Marquerite was appreciated by students and staff alike for her enthusiasm and integrity. It was my pleasure to work with her at Huntington High School. “Dear Montefusco Family, I was saddened to find out the "Monte" passed away. I was lucky to have reonnected with her over the past few years. I met her first when me and Sue Jensen at Huntington High School interviewed her for her job at the school as a science teacher. I loved her right away. She was talented, dedicated and very funny. She was the first co-teacher I worked with. Together we started the science research program at HHS. May her memory be for a blessling, Rich Kurtz”
