With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice J. Linder (Kingston, New York), who passed away on November 14, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Tubby (Selleck) and James G. Tubby; her husbands, William F. Whitaker Sr., Lewis B. Gorsline and Maurice Linder; her common-law partner Hurbert B. Faurote; her children, William F. Whitaker, Jr., Peggy Dennis and Esther McCaughin; and her siblings, James, Charles, Richard Tubby and Phyllis Preston.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Murray, JoAnn West, Lisa Coddington, Della Peters and James B. Whitaker; her stepdaughter Kathy Linder; her brother Bruce Tubby; and her grandchildren, Paul R. Murray II, Melinda Kimble, MaryAlice Murray, Sarah, Julie Whitaker, Ashley, Michael Whitaker, Robert Potter, Akiko Nelson, James, Nathan West, Jenna Medenbach, Nicholas, Jolene Carpino, Julia Dunn, Christofer Moe, Rosanne Coddington, Paul Scott, David, Jonathan, Timothy, Justin McCaughin, Christa and Samantha Ermer. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren.
