He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Engel and Beatrice Lord Engel. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Engel (Lawrence); his sons, Timothy Engel (Lisa), David Engel (Ann Marie) and John Engel (Claudia); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Alexa, Mackenzie, William and Tara.
