She is survived by: her daughter Joanne Lane; her son-in-law Raymond Lane; her grandchildren, Tracy and Ian Lane; and her nephew Captain Clarence Romero Jr..

She dedicated herself to serving the senior community, joining the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) at Ulster County Community College, where she oversaw the Neighbor to Neighbor initiative.
