He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Cicale of Kingston, NY; and his granddaughter Anne Elizabeth Provost of Manchester, NH.. He is survived by: his daughters, Virginia "Ginny" Provost (Stephen Provost), Diane Rolfe (R. C. Rolfe) and Mary R. Cicale; his grandsons, Mike Provost (Stacia Anderson), Chip Provost (Jill Provost) and James Rolfe (Lauren Narosky-Rolfe); and also, Mason and Isabelle Provost.
