She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Simpkins and Rosella Simpkins (Teatsel); and her sister Linda Rezsynak. She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Friss of Kingston; her children, Robert Friss of West Hurley and Brenda Steinhilber (Michael) of Kingston; her sisters, Claudia Powers (Allen) of Kansas and Lois Ferraro (Paul) of Catskill; her grandchildren, Christopher Steinhilber, Katlyn Friss and Matthew Friss; and her great grandchildren, Asher and Aria Steinhilber. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations in Ruthann's name can be made to the Dyson Center for Cancer Care in Poughkeepsie, NY.
