He was loved and cherished by many people including : his grandfather Bompie; his wife Alyce Rogers; his parents, Clarence Rogers and Ethel Rogers; his siblings, Robert Rogers and Charlotte Glenn of Pa; and his children, Tina M. Rogers, Edward A. Rogers (Corinda) and Kathy J. Marks (Jeff). He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, 11 ½ great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
