He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy M. Wright; his daughter Crystal Kearley; and his brothers, Theo "Jack", Gene and Francis Wright.
He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Dixon and Betty Grover; and his children, Robert, Donald and Lanakay. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
