She is survived by: her children, Michael J. Kocieniewski, Daniel Kocieniewski (Elif), Nancy Becker (Steve), Diane Suter (Roger), James Kocieniewski (Deborah) and John Kocieniewski (Debra); her grandchildren, Joann Rohr (Robert), Michael A. Kocieniewski (Jacqueline), Lila Kocieniewski, Mimoza Kocieniewski, Brian Gurney (Michelle), Matthew Gurney (Megan), Joseph Gurney (Ray Vega), Samantha Suter, David Kocieniewski (Makayla Foster), Eva Kocieniewski (John Chadderdon) and Kyle Kocieniewski; her great grandchildren, Amber Rohr, Ben Rohr, Jade Rohr, Rose Rohr, Michael J. Kocieniewski, Matthew Kocieniewski, Genevieve Gurney, Madelyn Gurney, Mason Gurney and Miles Gurney; and her siblings, Mary Meier (late Norbert), Henry Murak and Arthur Tubisz (Cheryl). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home (2400 William St, Cheektowaga, NY 14206). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Church (4220 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224). An entombment was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (800 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14225).
The family prefers donations be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org), Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo (formerly Oishei Children's Hospital) or Camp Good Days and Special Times.
