She was predeceased by : her spouse Willie Wilson McMillian; her son Joseph Elliott; her parents, Willie T. Elliott and Sallie Mae Elliott; and her sister Dorthy Elliott.

She is survived by : her children, Robin Easley, Letitia Badger, Desiree Kenney, Monique Russell, Darrell Elliott, Barbara Burnett and Sarah Donmore; and her siblings, Dosha Mae Hamilton-Deloach, Willie Mae Collins, Kay Francis Hollis, Ginell Shelton, Jackson Elliott, Betty Spann, Aubrey Walton and Willie Fred Elliott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
