He was predeceased by : his sister Mary Ann Marks. He is survived by : his daughter Crystal J. Poteat; his grandchildren, Crista A. Poteat and Michael A. Poteat; his great grandchildren, Danica J. Poteat and Layla R. Shaw; and his siblings, Jean Summers (late Walter), Rosie Pilla, Thomas Marchio and Frances Lopez. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
