He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert K. Hilton and Elaine Harvey Hilton; and his brothers, R. Kenneth and Timothy J. Hilton. He is survived by : his wife Diane Sexton; his children, Christopher (Kristina) of Farmingdale, NY, Kimberly (Chris Mahaney) of Lake Placid, NY and J. P. Hilton (Julia Neslin) of Weehauken, NJ.; his grandchildren, Andrew, Charlie, Daniel, Ellie Hilton, Ruth and Elaine Mahaney; his brother Richard; and his sister-in-law Judy Hilton of New Hartford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Face masks, social distancing and contact tracing will be required at the funeral home and church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Speculator Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 203, Speculator, NY 12164.
