He is survived by: his daughter Girl Scout; his wife Carole; his children, Joanne Calvaruso (Edmund) of Bonita Springs, Marybeth Tate (George) of St. Stephens Church, John Wheeler, Jr. (Albany), Richard Wheeler of Salem, NY, Gregory Wheeler (Janet) of Clifton Park and Matthew Wheeler (Susann) of Albany; his brother Ronald Wheeler (Patricia) of Albany; his grandchildren, Timothy Wheeler, Francine Calvaruso, Amber Smith, Heather Fryer (Jonathan), Kayla Wheeler, Colleen Wheeler, Nathaniel Wheeler and Alexander Wheeler; and his parent Adele Wheeler (Barton). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
